Fishing service Kossun Koukku ja Kala takes you onto the waters and deep into the heart of North Karelia’s lake nature. From its base in Liperi’s Kirkkolahti, Kossu organizes unforgettable fishing and nature tours. On the trip, you might spot a majestic osprey or the rare Saimaa ringed seal.

”I have been organizing various fishing events for decades. My main job is as a teacher, and promoting fishing as a hobby for children and young people is close to my heart. My strengths are in organizing events for special groups and large fishing events, but I also arrange smaller, tailor-made fishing trips for 1-4 people. A fishing or nature excursion with family or friends is an unforgettable experience.”

Our Prices
- Small groups for fishing and ice fishing (1–5 people) starting from 100€/2h + VAT 25.5 • Trolling and jigging trips starting from 300€/3h, additional hours 80€ + VAT 25.5 • Nature trips 200€/2h, additional hours 60€ + VAT 25.5
- Prices for large groups (6–300 people) are customized on a case-by-case basis.
Prices include: fishing permits for the water area, fishing gear, guiding services, and safety equipment. Equipment is rented for larger groups. Cold drinks in summer and hot drinks in winter. Trip snacks, meals, and accommodation are arranged separately. Summer trips are done on the Faster 560 TT top boat.

Winter ice fishing and summer fishing by boat or from the shore:
- Exploring the characteristics of the fishing spot and getting to know the fish
- Safety, wearing life jackets in summer

The trip duration, snack requirements, meals, and accommodation will be tailored to the customer’s wishes. You are welcome to bring your own fishing gear. The needs of special groups, such as children, young people, and individuals with mobility impairments, will be taken into account in the duration and content of the trip.
Large groups and special groups
Fishing events may include fishing competitions or corporate recreational days, and the duration and content will be tailored to the customer’s wishes. The specific needs of special groups, such as children, young people, and individuals with mobility impairments, will be considered when planning the event. For groups, there is an accessible and heated service building available in Liperi’s Kirkkolahti, equipped with WC, shower, and sauna facilities.
The package includes:
- Practical event organization, signage, announcements
- Fishing permits and the creation of a safety plan
- Fishing guidance, with additional guides if necessary
- Fish weighing and competition prizes, fish processing
- Agreed-upon snacks and meals
